Right before the end of the school year in Greece, the GAIA consortium has began conducting initial trial runs of the GAIA educational lab kit activities, with 6th graders in Ellinogermaniki Agogi, Athens. Close to 170 primary school students had the chance to experience firsthand several of the activities envisioned by the consortium, including lab exercises to construct simple installations visualizing energy consumption and environmental parameters inside their own schools, or a chance to become energy “inspectors”, trying to spot building peculiarities with a portable thermal camera.
