Georgios Mylonas is a senior researcher at the Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus”, Patras, Greece. His research interests lie in the areas of IoT, wirelessensor networks, distributed and pervasive computing systems.

Georgios is the coordinator of the Green Awareness in Action (GAIA) H2020 project.

 

 

Dimitrios Amaxilatis received his Diploma (2011), MSc (2014) and PhD (2018) in Computer Science and Technology from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras. A strong back-end and front end developer that worked for 7 years as a researcher at the Computer Technology Institute of Patras, Greece.

Federica Paganelli is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Pisa, Italy. Since 2018 she has been Researcher at CNIT. Her research interests include context-aware and Web of Things systems, service-oriented computing and communication, and next-generation networks.

 

Synelixis

Aikaterini Papadopoulou, carrying 2 MSc in the specialized areas of “Environment and Sustainable development” and “Environmental Management” and with valuable insight gained on commercial industry and market dynamics from previous posts, has been part of Synelixis’ team since 2013.

 

OVER


Mariano Leva has an MSc in computer science in 2011. Until 2014, he worked as a research fellow in Sapienza, University of Rome collaborating on several European Projects on the field of Service Oriented Architecture, Data Stream Management System and Multidimensional Data Visualization. Since November 2014, he works in Over SpA under the role of Project & Delivery Manager. From 2019, he is the Chief Operating Officer.

 

Ellinogermaniki Agogi

Pavlos Koulouris is a senior researcher in the Department of Research and Development of Ellinogermaniki Agogi (Pallini, Athens, Greece). His background is in literature and linguistics, educational technology and innovation. He is experienced in academic and applied research, and teaching.

 

 

SPARKWorks


Orestis Akrivopoulos received his Diploma and MSc on Computer Science and Technology from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department in University of Patras. As a Senior Architect has been involved in the analysis and development of several large-scale distributed systems. He is the Technical Manager of the GAIA EC project.

 


Nikolaos Kanakis received his Diploma, MSc and PhD in Computer Science and Technology from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras. In May 2016 he joined Spark Works ITC Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the update of Spark Works IoT Platform Ecosystem.

OVOS

Jörg Hofstätter studied Architecture and Industrial Design at the Angewandte and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. He graduated from Studio Hadid in 2003 and founded ovos in 2004. He considers himself a digital Architect, Edupreneur and Chocolate addict and has a passion for games with a purpose. Jörg has held multiple lectures and is a frequent speaker on the topic of digital strategies, playful learning and gamification.


Andreas Friedl is a passionate developer of interactive game-based experiences. At ovos he specialized in the design and implementation of gamified learning tools.
