The 1st GAIA workshop for teachers was organized on Friday, November 25, 2016 at CTI premises in Patras. Educators and other people working in Primary and Secondary education, school counselors were among the 40 attendees of the event from the educational sector. Overall, people from 6 participant schools (46th Primary School of Patras, 2nd Primary School of Paralia, 8th Junior High School of Patras, Model Experimental Junior High School of Patras, 1st Technical School of Patras and Primary School of Lygia Leukada) attended the event. The goal of the workshop was to inform teachers regarding the aims of the GAIA project and demonstrate the basic ideas of the GAIA applications and scenarios. At the end of the presentations, attendants had the opportunity to make questions and exchange opinions about the project and their participation in it. The workshop presentations are available here. The next workshop will be organized in Athens in order to inform and demonstrate the project’s ideas to the rest of the schools participating in the project.
